Flying by chartered plane means making the most of your time, and I'm going to tell you why.
Since you will do all the controls in a reserved area, you won't have to arrive at the airport two hours before departure – as it normally happens for intercontinental flights.
In fact, you can arrive just thirty minutes before, the time needed to carry out all the bureaucracy in total discretion.
Then, once you arrive at your destination, you will find your luggage waiting for you, which means you will not have to waste time waiting for luggage that never seems to arrive!

... and three things to know about Mauritius
#1 Mauritius or Mauritius Island?
Let's start talking about this paradise on earth by debunking a myth about it.
Perhaps not everyone knows that actually calling this area Mauritius Islands is not quite correct.
Mauritius is actually just one island, the main island of the larger Mascarene archipelago. Located off the coast of Madagascar, about 700 miles of shores, the Mascarene include all the islands grouped under the Republic of Mauritius – i.e. Mauritius of the same name, but also Agalega, Cargados Carajos and Rodrigues, and the territory of Reunion and Tromelin, which is owned by France.
Although Mauritius is one, the faces of these sun-kissed islands are many and within a radius of a few miles allow for a unique journey through dense forests, spectacular waterfalls, deserts and amazing botanical gardens.
As well as a dip into some of the tastiest flavours and contact with a welcoming and genuine population, the result of cultural mixes that reverberate in language, history, and traditions.
#2 The best time to visit Mauritius
The climate of the Republic of Mauritius is tropical, with average temperatures ranging between 20 and 28° all year round.
Its always warm waters reach a constant 27°, while rainfall varies widely depending on the months of the year.
But when is the best time to spend on this island?
To answer your question, it's between April and June and between September and December, when the climate is consistently pleasant and rainfall is rarer.
On the other hand, the period that is best avoided is between January and the months of March and April, the rainiest months during which cyclones make rainfall particularly frequent.
In general, there are two seasons in Mauritius.
The summer season, from November to April, which is hot and humid, especially in December, January, and February, and characterized by longer days: this is the best time for diving enthusiasts.
The winter season, on the other hand, runs from May to October, and although the climate remains mild and dry, around July and August temperatures become cool, reaching 20°. The strong winds that rise make this the absolute best time of year for surfing.
#3 Mauritius: which area to choose for a stay?
For a complete exploration of the Republic of Mauritius, a stay on the main island, Mauritius, is a must.
Well-connected with foreign countries, the island enjoys a wide choice of accommodation for all tastes and budgets. From luxury resorts to quality B&Bs, you can find the right solution for every need.
The Grand Bay Area, with its wide range of excursion agencies, hotels, and restaurants, is highly recommended both for your stay and as a point of departure for exploring the north.
Further down the west coast instead you will find the lively capital Port Louis and Flic en Flac, known to be one of the most breathtaking beaches of the archipelago.
The suggestion is in any case to rent a car to get around the island freely, as Mauritius really deserves to be visited from top to bottom.
