When the Super Bowl is played this year

This is the first season with 17 games in the regular season, which explains why the Super Bowl will be held a week later than the traditional date, the first week of February.

Where the Super Bowl takes place
Since the first one in 1967, since it faced teams from two leagues between which there was bad blood, it was decided that the game would be played on a neutral field, a venue decided before the season began, sometimes years in advance. It happens, then, that sometimes one of the teams plays in the home stadium, which has happened several times in the past. Only recently has the curse of the home team always losing ended: in the last two years, both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Rams have won in their own stadiums.

This year's final will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, a super-modern enclosed arena that normally hosts Cardinals games.
In keeping with the tradition of recent years, the NFL already decided last year when the next two Super Bowls will be held: the 2024 edition will be played at the brand-new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with the sporting event of the year making its absolute debut in the famous Sin City. In 2025, however, it's back to tradition: for the 11th time, the Super Bowl circus will return to the Superdome in New Orleans.
